Far from home ch.3

3.5 days later~
Nightstar, Apollo and Crystal awoke, slowly they looked around and noticed they were laying in a grassy field, the sun was about to set and there was a soft breeze that allowed the grass to gently sway back and forth.
The looked around and spotted a tree not to far away, Nightstar and Apollo trotted over to it, the tall maple tree left a gentle shadow below it, the two royal’s looked up and noticed a sun yellow pegasus sleeping in one of the higher branches.
Crystal trotted over to Apollo and Nightstar.
“It would have been nice if you woke me up” Crystal said grumpily as she rubbed her eyes and fixed her mane.
“Nice to see you to Princess Grumpy butt” Nightstar retorted and snorted in laughter.
The yellow mare opened her eyes and looked down to see the royals starring up at her, her golden mane hid her eyes.
“H-hello?” Apollo asked with slight concern in his voice.
The pegasus jumped down and looked at them.
“Can I help you?” Her voice was calm as she looked at Apollo.
“Where are we?” He looked at Nightstar and Crystal.
“You don’t know where you are?” The mare looked at him concerned.
“That’s why he asked, duh” Crystal snorted followed by Nightstar smacking her upside the head with her wing.
“Of coarse Tetchy wouldn’t tell you” The mare mumbled to herself.
“That unicorn we followed?” Nightstar asked.
The mare nodded and sighed “Your far from Equestria I will tell you that”
“What do you mean?!” Crystal yelled at the mare “Who are you even!?”.
“My name is Autumn and you might want to follow me”  Autumn slowly started trotting through the field, the royals look at one another.
“Should we follow her” Apollo asked.
“We don’t even know where we are” Crystal nearly yelled causing Autumn to turn around and look at them.
“Crystal behave” Nightstar hissed and started following Autumn.

The sky was dark grey as the pegasi flew threw the clouds, the zoomed through the sky after the purple hybrid, Moon kept a good meter in between herself and the pegasi, the zoomed over the ocean and past a few small islands.
They had been flying for hours are they were losing steam, they had to land sooner or later.
One of the pegasi a little mare, her uniform and equipment was slowing her down, her wings became wobbly.
The wind was pushing harder making it difficult to keep flying, with a split second the two smallest pegasi plummeted towards the ocean, the two larger pegasi dove to catch them, the pegasi were distracted and Moon was flying as fast as she could, out of the corner of her eye she could see the main land, the sandy beaches were empty along with the sky nearby.

Autumn had led the young royals to the base of a large mountain.
"Lets go" Autumn cheered.
"You led us to a mountain?" Crystal laughed "This is a joke right?"
"Umm Autumn...there's noting here" Apollo looked at the pegasus confused.
Nightstar looked around then looked up at the rocky cliffs.
"Do we have to fly?" Nightstar asked while still looking around.
"Hold your horses, just follow me" Autumn giggled and pushed a hidden button.
A door opened on the side of the mountain, a dark tunnel led inside the mountain.
Autumn trotted into the dark cave, the three royals looked at each other with concern.
"She's going to kill us" Crystal stepped away from the cave and looked at the other two.
"I don't know about you two but I'm following her" Apollo started following Autumn.
Nightstar and Crystal looked at each other and nodded, the slowly followed the other two.
After a few minutes of walking Autumn stopped.
"What is it now?" Crystal groaned.
Autumn looked around and smiled "We are finally here".
"There's nothing here!" Crystal yelled.
Autumn rolled her eyes and looked back at the walls of the cave, she took a short breath before walking into the wall, a soft glow appeared as she walk through the wall, the royal's mouths dropped in disbelief.
"So do we follow her?" Nightstar questioned.
Apollo nodded and put his paw where Autumn went through, his paw disappeared into the wall, he looked at the princess, he took a long breath and walked into the wall leaving the children of Luna and Cadence alone.

Apollo looked around and realized that he was in a long hallway with many doors, he noticed Autumn walking slowly down the hallway and looking at a clipboard.
"Autumn?" Apollo walked up next to her.
Autumn looked up and smiled "You decided to trust me, what about your cousins?"
She looked back to the wall and saw Nightstar and Crystal walking through, they ran up to her.
"Where the buck are we?!" Crystal growled, Apollo looked at Crystal annoyed.
"Welcome to Nightingale School of the dark arts" Autumn cheered.
"Night and Gale...School of the dark arts?" Crystal looked at Autumn confused.
"Dark arts?" Apollo backed away from Autumn.
"Is there a problem?" Autumn looked at the royals with concern.
"Do you teach dark magic?" Nightstar asked.
A unicorn ran up to Autumn.
"What is it Tetchy?" Autumn asked the Unicorn.
"Wait!, your the unicorn that led us here" Crystal yelled.
The unicorn looked at them and smiled "Glad to see your finally awake"
"Ok, Autumn...We found a pegasus who has magical wings!" Tetchy turned and ran back down the hall, his metal legs made a ticking noise as he ran.
"A magic pegasus!" Autumn followed after Tetchy, the three royals ran after them.

They entered a large room filled with scanners and other things, a green pegasus mare sat on the table as Tetchy and Autumn looked at her.
"Look what happened when her feathers get wet, he grabbed a green feather from the table and dropped it into a cup of water, small shine sparks formed in the cup.
"Umm Green mare...do you want to be here?" Apollo asked the mare as she watched the two ponies look at her feathers.
"I like to help ponies" She smiled and hopped off the table.
The mare walked out into the hallway, Apollo followed her out.
"My names Galeshine and you are?" The green mare smiled.
"My names Apollo Flare, the blue alicorn is my cousin Nightstar Glow and the grumpy Pinkish purple one is my other cousin Crystal Heart" He smiled nervously.
"Do you know where we are?" Gale asked kindly.
"No idea, I just want to find my friend and go" Apollo sighed.
"Well what does your friend look like, I might have seen him or her" Gale replied and looked back at Tetchy just watching the feathers in the water.
"She's a dark purple dragon pony and she has a long blue mane" Apollo smiled hopefully.
"I did see her, when I followed a few pegasi here I saw her flying nearby...we were near a jungle" Gale smiled.
"Can you lead us there?" Apollo questioned.
Galeshine nodded and started trotting down the hallway.
